Yes, He is Lord. In fact, some day in the relatively near future, when He returns to Judge and rule over the entire Earth, every knee will bow, and every tongue will agree, and say "Jesus is Lord". I can hardly wait for that happy day when everything on earth is restored to the way it was meant to be. The lion will lay down with the lamb. And there will be no more war. What a wonderful place earth will then be.
People are intrinsically afraid of the Name of Jesus. Deep down inside, they know it has power. Maybe that is why people inadvertently even let His Name slip from their mouths as a swear word. What they are really doing, is using His Name as an exclamation! They are proclaiming He is Lord without even knowing they are doing it. So next time you hear someone do it - don't get mad. Be happy, that even subconsciously, humans acknowledge that He is Lord!

Disagree. No where in the Bible is Christ ever referred to by the word LORD, but only Lord, which is spelled completely different. LORD is the locations where YHWH was removed and replaced in order to avoid God's name being defiled should the scroll be dropped in the dirt.

No, I don't agree with that statement. But you have every right to agree with it. And you are right; freedom of speech is one of the most valuable freedoms anyone has. My guess is that there are so many people out there that have been hurt by Christians and Christianity (myself included) that to even see someone saying, "JESUS IS LORD" would upset them. While those words do conjure up painful memories that I would rather forget, they are important to you and to other Christians. So they should be allowed to stay!!!

Jesus is Lord. That is why it is dangerous. We all are going to have to answer for our life actions and thoughts. If people knew how powerful Jesus really is perhaps they'd take advantage of trusting in him to resist evil temptations. And if every yahoo user were able to do that yahoo would lose serious money.

Jesus rebuked those who called him Lord. ON HIS OWN IDENTITY Jesus' statements throughout the Bible suggest that any idea of exalting him to divinity was unthinkable. In Matthew's gospel, Jesus denounces in the strongest terms those who exalt him by calling him `Lord': "None of those who cry out, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of God but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. When the day comes, many will plead with me, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? Have we not exorcised demons by its power? Did we not do many miracles in your name as well?' Then I will declare to them solemnly, `I never knew you. Out of my sight, you evil doers!' "
