Alessandra Ambrosio aka the victoria's secret model has a wonderful abs. does she work out? If she does what do you thing she do? will pilates work?

She's got 2 things going for her:

1. Low body fat content. Most professional models keep their body fat level at, or below, a healthy level. The upside is that you got to show off ab muscles.

For the record, since women store much of their body fat in their breasts, a very low body fat percentage usually doesn't lead to a D-cup. Only her plastic surgeon knows for sure...

2. She's probably got a professional body building coach at the gym, who helps her work out several hours a day. This helps her keep the body percentage low, and ads mass to her abs.

So, if you want to have her abs, you need to lower your body fat percentage to a lower end of healthy, as well as do the kinds of exercises that build up the abs. Pilates will work to a point, but I'm betting that you'll be doing crunches and leg lifts on top of that.

Tell you what -- how about you just be the best you can be, and forget about looking like a supermodel? I've got a picture of me sandwiched between two Playboy Playmates (clothed, of course). I went to grad school with the former Prell Shampoo poster girl. I can tell you that I'd love to spend the night with the super models, but I'll spend my life with a happy, healthy, and emotionally rock solid woman (thank you very much).
