i'm a man and am fluent in "manese". that line means you are either coming on too strong or it's an excuse to get rid of you.

the best thing for you to do is back away. let him come to you. many girls make the mistake of pursuing him stronger when they feel he has taken a step back.

depending on how much time you spend with him he either wants to see you more or he wants to breakup with you. I think he wants to see you more.
