Don't let your foot "curl" up with the cramp, it will just get worse. Flex your foot, even though it hurts and massage the lump of muscle at the same time. When the cramp softens, walk around, being careful not to curl up your toes, or the cramp will come right back. Keep your foot flexed and the muscle stretched as much as possible.

Eat lots of bananas!

Try gently put weight on it, then start walking barefoot. Keep walking for about 10 min. if it doesn't go away, vigorously massage it until goes away (this will hurt, if doesn't you are not doing it right). If that doesn't work i suggest you go to a walk in clinic or a hospital what ever is more convenient. The massage if done right will gt rid of most cramps induced by physical activity. Hope it goes away soon.

then go to MD find out why. not enough calcium (doesn't show up on tests) 1200-1500mg of calcium carbonate a day. certain vitamins like c can cause blood and circulation problems many mild or serious.

Straighten your leg and pull back on your toes...this will stretch the muscles. I get them almost every night, I have 2 labs who sleep on my feet and legs, causing the cramps.
