Java it should of stayed as Coffee?

When I play games or go into chat rooms that uses a Java platform I am getting a black screen.. I have uninstalled and reinstalled java and have even changed my settings and nothing is working for me.... Is there anything else that I can do to fix this?

I just had a problem with this and I had a Trojan virus hiding in my Java files. My antivirus couldn't even heal it, so I had to search, locate and get rid of it. Then I had no more black screen.

Do a virus search, and see if that's the problem.

What browser--IE7 is having some problems. I recommend firefox or opera.
