Salt is salt, the only difference between the two is sea salt is very fine crystals and table salt has iodine added.

They are both the same.There is 1gm of sodium [40%] in every 2.5gm of table salt and sea salt. Sea salt contains about 80 mineral elements that the body needs. Some of these elements are needed in trace amounts. Unrefined sea salt is a better choice of salt than other types of salt on the market. Ordinary table salt that is bought in the super markets has been stripped of its companion elements and contains additive elements [sometimes] such as aluminum silicate to keep it powdery and porous.

Sea salt and table salt are both NaCl, sodium chloride. However, sea salt may contain minute contaminants such as potassium chloride, silica and the like. So unless you have purified sea salt, then by weight, table salt would have more sodium.

Table salt because it is pure sodium chloride. Sea salt is sodium chloride with magnesium.

table salt, and it's highly processed, so it's really bad for you. Sea salt is not highly processed, and it's loaded with minerals that are good for you.
