In the beginning there was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning, All things were made by him, and nothing was made without him. In him there was life, and life was the light of all people. The Light shines in the darkeness and darkness has not overpowered it.

The Hebrew Scriptures are consistently clear in showing that there is but one Almighty God, the Creator of all things and the Most High, whose name is Jehovah. (Mt 4:9, 10; 20:23; Lu 22:41, 42; Joh 5:19; 8:42; 13:16) Even after Jesus' ascension into heaven his apostles continued to present the same picture.-1Co 11:3; 15:20, 24-28; 1Pe 1:3; 1Jo 2:1; 4:9, 10.

Jesus is God the Son or God manifest in the flesh. In John 1:1 we read of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Eternal Word "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. All things were made by Him..."(John 1: 1-2) Jesus is co-eternal and co-equal with the Father and we read "The Word was made flesh..."(John 1:14) It is here we read of his incarnation.
Paul writes concerning the Lord Jesus Christ "Who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation, took upon him the form of a sevant and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion of a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death even the death of the cross..."(Phillippians 2:6-8)
He is GOD!

Jesus is the Son , God is the Father and the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit all three together are God. Jesus the Christ said " When you look at me you see the Father (God)". Jesus' name was Yahshua when He was on the earth.) Yahshua means " God Saves". Jesus was God in the flesh, if God had came down to the earth in His Glory, "Holy Spirit" all men that had looked at Him would have died on the spot. Remember Moses had to turn his head and not look at God's face. Or, Moses would have died.
My dad is my father (on earth) he is also a son (my grandparent's son) and he is a spirit. He is all three.
Jesus came in the flesh to Save us, IF He had come to this earth in His Glory "Holy Spirit" we would have be lost forever. The flesh has blood and His blood had to shed so that our sins could be forgiven when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
