When you start thinking about the need to urinate, your bladder actually responds by starting to contract as though you're going to urinate right away, making the feeling of the need to urinate more intense. This can happen when you're at your front door and know that you're going to get to the bathroom soon... or when you're in a traffic jam and start wondering when you'll get to the bathroom next... or when you get into that annoying outfit, or hear running water, or generally do anything that makes you think about needing to pee. You could try not thinking about it, although of course whenever you try not to think about something your brain only responds by thinking about it more... ain't physiology wonderful? ;)

You are comfortable peeing, (which is an act which places you in a very vulnerable state if you are a human,) where you feel safest, at home. Your body responds to this on an unconscious level. Also, most people tend to avoid going to the public restrooms if they can help it.

LOL....I don't know. Millions of times I've come into my house pulling off clothes and running to the bathroom with just seconds to spare.
