how long does it take caffeine gum to take effect? and how long will the effect last? specifically with jolt gum

also if you swallow a piece whole (by accident! lol) without chewing what will happen? will it still be effective?

It takes about 5 minutes for it to take effect and how long it will last will be about the same as the caffeine in a cup of coffee.

If you swallow it, it will just take longer to get into the blood stream. I am going to guess more like 30 minutes.
