This really works, get some vics vapo rub, I have recommended this to alot of people and they were amazed. Even people with lots and "deep" pimples have used this it is great. Put it on it NOW and again before bedtime, I will bet you pesky pimple will be gone by Fri-Sat.

Assuming a normal pimple, and not some type of insect bite that might look like a pimple, your best bet is to wash your face twice a day with warm soapy water or specially formulated cleanser. When I was younger and got pimples I would also sometimes make some hot soapy water and put it on a cosmetic pad or cottonball and hold it on the pimple for a while. The idea is to loosen the dried sebum (oily stuff our skin makes) plug likely clogging the pore. Then use an over the counter acne med that has something like benzoyl peroxide (not sure if that is spelled right) and there may be others like that Proactive they advertise a lot. Basically this will get in and kill the bacteria that inflames and reddens those pores. Once it gets in there should disappear quickly.

If you are prone to pimples also wipe or spray your phone, and other items regularly in touch with your face, with alcohol or lysol type spray once in a while. This is to get rid of any bacteria that could theoretically infect and inflame other pores.

O.K. I am going to respond but you may want to add your ? under Beauty & Style and then under Skin & Body. You will have better luck getting more responses:)

I used to work for Lancome so I know a little about skin. Personally, if it was me, if it is a (sorry if this sounds gross)white head or a black head, they need to be popped. Black heads rarely ever just go away. You should scrub with a gentle exfoliater once a week to help with those. Always wash your face at night. The average zit lasts about 1-2 weeks. (depending on your skin) Now dont go crazy popping your zits, eventually you will scar. Vitamin E is always a PLUS to put on it like a day or two after you pop it to make sure it won't scar. It is greasy so apply the Vitamin E at night. I can't give you much advice to make it go away quicker. Except make sure your face is always clean and don't touch your face or pick at your face. 9 times out of 10, your hands are dirty and that will only make zits stay around longer. Don't use bar soap on your face. Neutrogena makes gentle face washes that are pretty affordable. Again, this is only an opinion. Good Luck:)

The first rule of good skin care is NOT to touch your face. Really. Your hands (especially your fingertips)have dirt and oils that can introduce and cause infection. Your pores on your face are producing enough oil. You need to wash your face with a non-soap product, first using warm water to open the pores. Then after washing, and rinsing well to remove everything from your face, rinse again, this time using cool water. The cooler water will help close the pores. (A good rule for rinsing, is to rinse twice as long and twice as well as you think you should.) Then pat dry with a clean cloth. Don't use your bath towel. Pat , never rub. Do this often. Several times a day. Make time for this routine, and you will see a difference in about a week or less. It will be worth it, it really does work. Just don't forget, Don't touch your face!

If you eat a lot of chocolate this could be the cause of getting pimples.Try putting a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and clean the area very good,do this several times a day and your pimple will be gone shortly.Don't get it in eyes.
