Is it true that all worship invented by man is idolatry?

i•dol•a•try is 1. the religious worship of idols. 2. excessive or blind adoration, reverence, devotion, etc.

The Bible says, “Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen...For the customs of the people are vain”. Jeremiah 10:2-3

“Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the Lord your God.” Lev.18:30

I believe it is idol worship. I watch the pope kneel and pray to an image of the virgin Mary. I am suprised that "iconism" has taken such a root in Catholicism considering how closely it follows so many pagan faiths that worship an image.

Yes, in fact the Mass worship is similar to the worship in pagan temples in the ancient religion Egypt. It was a "mystery" religion, and so is Catholicism.

What do you mean? The Catholic Mass? Yes, we worship Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit at the Mass.
