these have a lot of info on jobs without a college degree. you can also read 100 Great Careers That Don't Require a College Degree by Leonard Corwen at the library. Yes, I agree that college isn't for everyone. I mean, look at the basketball players. I know a bunch that didn't go to college and now they're making millions. I heard of a doctor who can't retire until he's 72 because that's when he'll be able to pay off his college loans. if you make manager of mcdonald's, you can make 60-70,000 a year. you won't have to worry about college loans.
i hope this helps!!
good luck and have fun!!

Truck driver--some schooling required but it doesn't take long
Certain types of construction--my brother is a plasterer and just has his GED, but he had to work his way up to that--he started as a "hod carrier"--basically hauling around very heavy loads of plaster, sheetrock, etc. for the plasterers
Fast food restaurant manager--would need to work your way up
Factory work--some factories pay pretty well and have good benefits (however, this can be very monotonous, sometimes loud, heavy lifting, etc.)
Cheese plants--around my area, anyway, cheese plants pay pretty well and have good benefits--but this kind of work is not for everyone
Some companies MAY still let people work their way up. (One of my other brothers did this and now has a good position in the company.) However, a person needs to show some exceptional skills, ambition, intelligence, etc.
