I guess you have to identify the kind of men that you are targetting. Are looking for a divorced man ? Divorced with a child ? Single never married man ? Hot looking man ? Averag elooking man ? Business man ? Unemployed man looking for a home ? There are all sorts of men. Which one are you looking for.

For a divorced man with a child looking for a family try where your child hangs out and you will meet single parents over there as well. These single parents are looking for women like you.

My advice " avoid dating sites" they simply don'y work.

Try your friends' friends - take a night class in a field that interested you you will meet men over there who have nothing to do in the evening (no family and looking like you)

Hang on,what do you want a man or a child. Sounds to me your just looking for a man to father a child.Sorry you have just gone through divorce its hard, been there, done it and got the teeshirt.Yes its hard for women on their own,join clubs,go to the libiary,there lots of men who are in the same situation as you,but start giving out siginals of I want a baby,you may end up with a baby and no man. Take your time.

There are dating sites that are focused on specific towns. Like Addison Texas has www.addisonsingles.com to find guys & gals who reside or work in Addison.

Then there is the "speed dating" approach, but I have no link or name to any of those.

I preferred to meet Christian men, so I found my fiance thru www.christiancafe.com some 26 months ago.

Whichever route you choose, please be honest and understand that only about 20% will be honest with you - even the Christian websites. You just have to know how to weed 'em out! Good luck!

Easiest way to attract a man is to put something nice behind your ears - like your ankles.
Only kidding, if you are wanting to meet men just to have another child, that will probably scare them off.
I would try singles nights at supermarkets, try joining book clubs perhaps, or simply start up conversations in coffe shops or the like.

I think if you are looking so you can have another child that's not a good reason you should go to nice places and just be yourself and get to know someone for a long time before you have a child

Stay far away from bars, unless you want to meet alcoholics and overgrown 'frat' boys.
Get involved in the community. Find an activity, or club you like, and where men would be likely to be too. Volunteer. If you don't meet someone through one of these activities, at least you'll make friends, and sooner or later, someone's going to think of someone they'd like you to meet.

you know what. I really can't help you because I don't go looking for them but through answering similiar and reading similiar answers to questions such as this then I'd say they tend to be at bars, clubs and if you're lucky you'll just meet one unexpectantly. good luck
