Christianity is ALL about the ressurection. If Jesus didn't come back after a particularly gruesome death, his story probably wouldn't have been as far-spread as it is today (given the logic that his ressuraction really did mean that he was the son of God).
If someone showed up and revealed that he had proof that Jesus WASN'T executed and ressurected, I'd probably think that it could have been forged. There's a LOT of people out there who are trying to disprove God/Jesus who will do anything to prove them wrong, but they can't. No such evidence will ever exist.

In my theology, the physical resurrection is unimportant in the scheme of both "things" and in Jesus's role in existence, and people are free to believe what they will about it. I feel, however, that it detracts from the value of Jesus as a teacher, covering up his interesting ideas and lessons with a veil of mythology. If Christianity was to be more like Jesus in its mannerisms in the absence of the resurrection, I would certainly tolerate it more than its current incarnation.

No I would not. Some people think that dieing on the cross was the most important event. It was the 2nd most important event. The resurrection was the most important, because it affects every living soul. "In adam ALL die, so in Christ "ALL" are made alive. Every single person who ever died (save a very few) will be resurrected. We have no choice. It is a sure thing.

Why does it make you angry what others think? You know the truth, you should be happy. Jesus would not want you to be angry. Peace. People are going to believe what they are going to believe. Not everybody can be saved. Getting angry just adds fuel to the fire. People who don't believe and are not looking for the truth will not even understand the deep connotations of what you are saying. I pray you have a lovely day, regardless.

Dear girl/guy
Please understand that Jesus is the main reason why there is a difference between Judaism is Islam. Jews don't believe Jesus was a messanger from God, and Muslims believe that Jesus was not killed on the cross but put in heaven before that happened(basically muslims dont believe he died). If you are disagreeing with your religion then learn other ones, you will be surprised to know that they really aren't that different from what you are used to. Go to other sites such as http://www.jewfaq.org/, or http://islamtomorrow.com/. those are good sites to try and really understant Gods message.

Even a Muslim person admitted that Jesus performed miracles, and they know that he lived. He was resurrected. If you have not the intellect to use the spell checker how do you expect people to take you seriously !

Without the Resurrection, Christianity wouldn't make much sense. I'd opt for Judaism and wait for the real deal.
I am not responsible for your anger. But I will tell you that it is a foolish waste of energy.

Well, the apostle Paul said that if there was no resurrection, then are faith is useless, and we might as well all pack up and go home. So Christianity without the resurrection is useless.

This question is moot, because there would be no Christianity without Christ's Resurrection.
