Yes indeed they can. My now fiancee is still 3000 miles away...but were working on being together.. Communication via internet, phone, and mail is important - every day.

of coarse it can, im going through with one right now. we are completely commited to each other too.
you cant think negitivly about the relationship or else you might manifest your negative thoughts into reality. be open minded and try not to worry too much. Talk to each other as much as you can, dont give each other any reason to be suspicious and just love each other. make sure you have some sort of arrangment to see each other every now and then as well. I'm worrying a lot right now for a specific reason about mine, but I'll tell you that you'll break yourself down if you worry a lot.
I hope the two of you stay focused and commited and best of wishes to you. and DO NOT listen to all the sore, bitter losers that are quick to yell: "it wont work, blah blah, he's cheating blah blah." because it CAN work and not everyone is the same...

I believe they can. I am currently in that position & have been for 6 months. The thing is, is that he is now moving down here this weekend. I guess it depends on how much luv, trust, & respect that there is between U 2. It also depends on how long will it be a long distance thing. It's really hard & frustrating but it can happen.

I defanently think a long distance relationship can work, I met my now husband online he lived in Chicago and we spoke daily for 6 months before he dicided to move to TX. With me, we've been doing grate and are now going to celebrate our 1 year anniversary this HALLOWEEN.. He recently had to go back to Chicago because his mom was sick and passed on with breast cancer. In the end yes I do think long distance relationships can work its basically a trust issue and how much you confide in him and how much he can confide in you. GOOD LUCK!!

Yes and no, because you never know if the guy or girl you are going out with is cheating on you because i've tried that.... but yes because if you actually trust the person with your life then yeah it could work

Absolutely, if you are both committed to it. Now the LENGTH of time it can work is entirely another question. (Not too long.)
