The price for euthanasia can vary, at my vet it is 35 dollars. If you want your pet cremated, that will cost more and is determined by the prices set by their contracted crematorium.

I'm surprised that so many vets don't charge. It's normally about $100 but depends on the weight of the animal. This includes proper (legal) disposal of the carcass which is normally sent to a pet cerimatorium. Not to mention the fact that the drug is very expensive. They must make up the cost by adding it into something else.

The price is usually based on what the pet is and how much it weighs. I had a pet rat put to sleep and it was $18.00. I also had a horse put to sleep and that cost me several hundred dollars.

Contact APA or PAWS they may offer a discount or do it for free. Alot of times if your dog is a patient at a certain vet they will do it for free. Sorry you have to go through this. I know its hard but for now just play with your baby until that time comes. Have you considered just letting nature takes its course? Just please make sure whatever time your dog has left that is as comfortable and loving as possible..

Depends on the area your in. You need to call around to your local vets and get quotes on the price. Around where I am it is normal for it to be about $35.

we had to put our dog to sleep in april. the charge is usually based on weight. also we had her cremated, a local funeral home does it. you should call your vet. very sorry for you. it's a hard decision to make, we ended up waiting too long until she was miserable.
