i asked her and showed her my new hairstyle but not permanent yet. She doesn't like it but she says its my choice. I kinda feel hurt by that a little but i want to do it but i'm afraid what everybody will think. i want to make my decision of wearing my new hairstyle or keeping the old one!!!

just look at her sadly and tell her that moms are supposed to support you. say that you feel betrayed that she isnt proud of your inner woman. that should knock her off her feet.

You're lucky you have a mom who is willing to leave it up to you. Go ahead and change the style, then give her time to get used to it. She may change her mind about it.

Girl it is your hair you can pick your own hair style and it aint what the other people think it is what you think and it really don't matter what any body else think because it is your body and your hair so **** them. Real talk.
