If you have a balance at the end of the month and you don't pay off the whole thing, they won't charge interest, for the next six months.

First, if you don't know what it means then you shouldn't have credit cards. You are going to get yourself in a lot of trouble.
But since you asked...that means that if you make payments (not paid in full) on the purchases within the first six months, you will not be charged interest on the money owed.
Now, what is the APR after the 6 months? Is there a cancellation fee?
You should only have a max of 2 credit cards and keep them paid off monthly. Do not get fooled in to making minimum payments. You will end up owing more money that your purchases are worth.
Good luck and be careful.

That means that if you buy something by using your credit card and don't pay it all off, you won't be charged any interest for it for the first 6 months. APR stands for Annual Percentage Rate. After the 6 month period, you'll have to pay interest on anything you don't pay off. Your interest rate might be pretty high, though. That's how these credit card companies make money -- from the interest paid by the consumer.

It depends on if it is 0% for purchases or transfers. If it is for purchases, it means that as long as you pay the minimum required each month, you will not be charged any interest on your balance for the first 6 months, but then if you don't pay off the full balance you will be charged interest. If it is for transfers, then the same goes, but only for a balance that is transferred from a different card (and there is usually a fee to do that).

No. It we could you ruin out with making in basic terms the minimum charge each month, in case you are trying this each month. while you're making no charge for a month, then the 0% APR ends today, and would not final for the comprehensive 6 months.

Check to see if the 0% is for balance transfers or purchases. Make sure you make all of your payments on time and stay under the limit or you will lose the promo rate. Definitely read the fine print because some companies require you to make a minimum amount of purchases each month to maintain the 0%.

you pay no interest on purchases made for the first 6 months, but only if the balance is paid in full. IF there is a remaining balance on your account from the 6 month no interest period you will be charged the going interest rate on that balance and future purchases

You will not be charged an interest rate for the purchases you make during the six month period. After the six months, you will have to pay interest for your payments. Read the fine print to see what your interest rate will be.
