I clean it once a day, twice if it needs it. I use the sifting liners and throw out the leftover litter when I get to the solid bag. Can I use the litter left over after the 10th bag is used?

I have 2 female kittens ( both 12 weeks).

I would probably completely empty it once a week, cats have internal parasites that deposit eggs through the feces and when the cat goes in the pan and poops, the eggs are in the litter and a sifter doesn't get it all out....just a thought, that's what I do anyhow.

Depending on how many cats you have, and if they are male and not neutered. Generally, you can go a max of 2 weeks without changing the litter completely. However, if you have more than one or it is an un-neutered male, once a week is a good idea.
(un-neutered males have stronger urine than those who have been neutered.

i would put fresh litter in at least once a week and when they get older you MAY have to put it twice a week it just depends on when they get older how much they go you will know

wouldn't reccomend it--totally change at least once a week, depends on using box only-or indoor/outdoor cat
