Depending on the tone of your skin you could range in colors. however i have dark brown hair and green eyes and pinks ( light) and purples look good, browns also bring out the color of my eyes. I have fairly fair skin and am one of those lucky people who can pull off red lipstick. Just remeber red isnt red. there is usually a blue or orange under tone and that will determine which one works best with your skin tone.

depends on the occasion, dark colors would go nice on ya!
but if its for day time then i guess i bright purple n shades of blues!
