I believe it does, I started taking it 2 weeks ago and have been on an emotional roller coaster for the last week. My family doctor told me to stop taking it because she was afraid I might have a slight case of being bi-polar. BTW, I was prescribed the medicine by a doctor from the VA hospital.

Yes, Wellbutrin can cause anxiety. So can many other anti-D's. I would suggest trying Sam-E. I used it for 8 years, and it is great for mild depression.

You can get it at any health food store or in the vitamin section of any market.

Welbutrin is suppose to releive anxiety, talk to your doctor.

I have tried both at different times & yes they both made me very jumpy.
