I know this is a lame answer... but I have to say it because now I'm in college, and it wasn't just a line: it's true! IT'S JUST HIGH SCHOOL! Ask him out if you want, go with him, or go alone, go with the girls, just have fun, because you DON'T need him to do it. If you miss him, tell him. Just be yourself and feel how you feel, and don't listen to all the bullshit going around, because it really doesn't matter once you walk away. Do what you want to do! Have a great Homecoming! :D

The best thing for you to do is ask someone else because it helps you get over him and move on with your life. I know you don't want to be hook on your ex for months on end. Since the boys in your school are wimps ask one of them that you are cool with or you are felling them a little.

Well if you still like him, why did you break up in the first place? Ask him out again, see what he says and how he feels. If he says no, then I don't think there's a chance. If he does say yes, then I guess it's your luck! Have fun at the homecoming!

First of all, why don't you stop being soo picky and give the other guys at your school a chance? Another thing, if you and your ex split, then he is probably not going to want to go with you. What your feeling is typical of a young girl who can't get over her "BAD BOY" ex, and go out with a guy who is nice and has brains. If your ex won't go with you, chances are, you won't be going with anyone.

only you know how you feel, why did you break up, how did he treat you when you went out last time, how did you treat him, you got to be honest with yourself and do some soul searching. do you really want to go out with him or just need a partner for homecoming if thats the case ask him just to accompany you as friends.

I think it depends, because I went through the same thing. Me and my ex went out for about a year and then we, of course, broke up. We still both liked each other, a whole lot. It took a year, for him to ask me back out again, and I said yes. So..if you still like him a lot and he likes you a lot, GO FOR IT!! I hope this helps!!
P.S Good Luck!! : )

well from experience I think that you should ask your ex. If you care that much about him and you want to be with him and you think that can't nobody else compare to him then go ahead and ask him to your homecomming good luck and have fun!!

Well depends. why did you break up?
If you want to be back with and take him to Homecoming do it. Your in High School nothing will matter in a few years.

If he doesn't want to, or if you feel to uncertain, well then you dont go with him, and you'll be happy to move on...goodluck

It would probably be better if you knew why you split up IN THE FIRST PLACE. Don't you think? Because I'll tell you this, if you don't know why you broke up, you have no business in a relationship.
