my tale begins with junior tom who made is own atomic bomb
he made with a clockwork spring, a photo graphic flashlight thing
a detonator found at Chatham and a slightly bent uranium atom
one day with son at school, his father prowling round the shed in a bored and idle manner hit the atom with a spanner
six miles away in the dusty gloom of a dismal desk encumbered
the boys abruptly ceased to think of magna cart canes and ink but ducked their tuppenies ? at the flash, felt the building rock and crash, crawling from beneah the rubble bewildered by all the hubble bubble beheld a monsterous mushroom cloud crawl blackly up into the sky.
learnt for an oral exam in junor school, had it disallowed for being "innapropriate" ?? and got caned fro wasting time
