If this were the case, I would have been blind a LONG time ago. the most that it would do is cause red eyes and a VERY bad headache.

No, producing excessive tears cannot blind you. Tears are made up of 3 main chemicals, and it is the residue from those chemicals that causes that opaque junk you wipe out of your eyes in the morning (usually called "sleep" or "eye boogers"). Excessive tearing can lead to excess gunk, which can blind you momentarily by surprise when you blink and it spreads across your eye. It does no lasting harm though... Best, Ed, RN

No, you can't. But if you are crying enough to worry about it you should find out WHY you are crying so much. That doesn't sound too good.
Sounds to me like you need to talk to someone about your problem.

No of course not, tears are naturally produced by your body and are no more than salt and water. Your eyes are constantly lubricated by tears, and cannot damage your sight. If that were they case, everyone would go blind.
