My dad is 60 soon (about 3 weeks!) and my sister and i still have NO idea what to get him! We want either something that he will remember or can keep forever. He likes rugby, whiskey (we already got him crystal glasses and we get him a nice malt every year!) and cleaning his car, lol. He is in the middle of moving to a new house. Any interesting/ unusual/ appropriate suggestions? Thanks

A great thing would be to stay with him overnight at his house on his B-day. When you get to be his age, spending time with those you love are the most important. Then make him breakfast. Heck, you could even make a weekend out of it and take a great little road trip somewhere.

a little old neighbor lady just gave me this idea for my grandad and I think it is cool as heck. She goes to the coin shop and buys a silver dollar, half dollar, quarter, dime, nickle and penny from the year a person is born and has they framed in a really classy window box dispay. She showed me one she did and it was totally unique and VERY cool.

just a thought, I never even thought to do that, but it's awesome and I'm doing it this year for christmas.
