That is where I have a little devil and when I got pregnant his head would get huge, it was funny. It happened during all three pregnancies and it always went back to normal. Just apply alot of lotion to keep your skin soft and supple, that way not alot of stretch marks .I went back to prepregnancy weight after all three. I gained 40lbs with the first, went from 110 to 150, gained 50 with my second, went from 100 to 150 and with my third went from 115(gained 15lbs after I quit smoking to get pregnant) and went to 140. Now , I am at 115 again and he still looks the same. So good luck to you on everything. Hope you get pregnant soon.

It depends on how you are when you are pregnant.
If you exercise, eat right (you don't need to eat much more than you normally do.. you can even ask your doctor about that one.. what u do eat to snack on or whatever make sure its something healthy like fruits or vegtables) and you can use some creams that prevent streach marks (who knows if they really work or not.. but its worth it.. lol) then you should be fine.
I'm 20 years old I have a 2 almost 3 year old and I just had a baby Aug. 11th.. My tattoo is up higher just under the belly button area but to the side.. It looks as good as it does when I got it done after 2 kids.. I never got stretch marks either. I worked out every day, drank only water and ate right everything turned out just fine for me.

It will stretch a bit, but as far as it going back to normal it depends. Some women have highly elastic skin and though pregnant, their tattoos never deform. Just the same, some women wind up with a kitty paw that looks like a lions after carting the kid around. If you are concerned about the tattoo, have it removed now, or think about what you can do after pregnancy in case it does look screwed up.

More than likely your tattoo will stretch out, just try to keep at a healthy weight during pregnancy. You may need to get it touched up after birth, because it will not go back to normal.

ur tattoo will most likely stretch into something not so attractive because thats just the way it is I guess. my cousin Lauren she had this awsome dragon tattoo below her belly button and above her pelvic bone and after she had her kid it looked like it was squished into one huge deformed troll or something. It was pretty bad. She said if she ever wins the lottery the first thing she would do is remove the tattoo. or re-do it. (fat chance of that happening.) But luckily, your tattoo is not somewhere out in the open.

I don't think you should have a problem. You should not stretch in that area unless you gain 100 pounds...I had 5 when I was pregnant and none of them stretched...i purposely put them all where I knew I would not get any bigger from pregnancy. Good luck!

stretch marks can ruin a tattoo
if your skin stretches from weight gain and then shrinks back up without losing its elasticity (what results in stretch marks) then I would expect that there wouldn't be much distortion of the tattoo, maybe none at all

It might...mine didn't. I have chinese characters on my lower right side of my tummy, by my hip. Got it 3 months before I got pregnant. Didn't stretch a bit. Looks just like it did before. No stretch marks either.

Well, since you usually get big all around that area and other areas, yes it's going to stretch.
My mom's friend got a tan when she was pregnant, and when she went back to normal, it looked like she'd had an accident with dark tanning oil. But it might go back to normal eventually...

umm it will stretch it all depends on how big ur tummy gets
it will be distorted after you have your baby it all depends how fast you recover and how fast you can get your skin to shrink back to normal but i am guessing there will be stretch marks through it
as far as im concerned a baby is more important than a tattoo you can always go get another one
