Dealing with depression, anxiety and stress is the hardest job in the world. I had to quit my job because of it about 5 years ago as my employers refused to even talk seriously to me about how I felt.
Good luck.

I suffer from both depression and anxiety. I find it very difficult to make it to work, however, I have never had a problem holding a job. I just recently quit my job of over 3 years. (I'm still in college). It's hard.. trust me I know. But for me, work is the only thing I feel obligated to try my best at. Even though I hate it and hate being there.

Yes, I do. I have been suffering for about 13 years from depression, stress and anxiety. Sometimes the thought of going to work is too much and I have to ring up and say that I have a headache.

Yes! Since being diagnosed with depression 2 years ago I have had 6 different jobs and I am currently looking for a 7th. Where ever I seem to be it's just not right but if I'm honest with myself I probably just make excuses, it's easy to blame the way I am feeling on a rubbish job rather than admit what is really the issue!

Yes. I have been there before and am also a spiritual healer. It takes time to get over depression. The worst thing you can do is keep working ,especially if you are in a stress-filled job.It just adds to the burden you carry.Time off to recharge batteries is called for.....meditation helps. If you can't do that if you can get out in the fresh air and walk and take in the nature around you it helps a lot. A little at a time :)

im 20 and have 10 different jobs as i have have suffered severe depression for a long time, to the point of self harming and could hold down a job.
But then i started caring for the elserly and it is so rewarding i loved it and my depression stopped.
Im currently not working as i left there to have my daughter of which is great and i only suffered slight depression when i found out she was blind but i realise thats part of her life and growing up and being down is not going to make her better.

Do you take anti depressants, they can help lift your mood a lil to be able to find a job you really enjoy.
good luck.xxxx

My mom suffers from depression and anxiety and has other health issues and cannot work. It is possible with the right medications for someone to be depressed and still work but it all depends on the person and the extent of their illness.

I think that if your doing a job, that's great, it will help take your mind off the issues that have caused you to full into a state of depression and anxiety,be careful in all you do, give yourself extra time to fulfil the days tasks,be positive,if you can find some time to relax ,try to put into your mind that you will carry on doing ,it will take time before you'll start to feel more like your self, good luck to you in all you do

yes. I am on disability because it kept affecting my job. My moods were always changing and the stress and anxiety associated with a job kept my sleeping and eating patterns screwed up. I started having major physical poblems. It's hard to deal with the public and be depressed and have to say "have a nice day" when you want to say "go away and don't come back.". talk to your MD..you may need to go on disability.
