How about Green Eggs and Ham?
A great thrust and riposte bit of poetry that everyone knows and is easy to memorize.

Ever read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer? They're about vampires, but in her second book called New Moon she draws many parallels between the vampire and human falling in love and Romeo and Juliet....if anyone in your group has read them, you'd be able to come up with a similar parody fairly easily.

What was popular last year was a version of "Romeo and Juliet" set in the Old West. I guess Romeo and Tybalt had some kind of showdown with six-shooters. It was put on locally in northern Utah, but you could put your own twist on it.

Parodies don't have to copy the style of the original work's title. It doesn't have to be "(boy) & (girl)". Frankly, the title of ANY story, nonetheless a parody, needs to say a lot more than "obvious parody of (insert work here)". You simply don't have enough--you don't have anything for that matter--that anyone can use to give you a title.

You may borrow anything from my website. Many others have taken this script and derived their own parody skits. Have fun!

Why not make them "hillbilly" families, like the Hatfields and the McCoys?
It's the same idea - two feuding families.
