RE:
Do men ever fall in love when they start out in a friends with benefits relationship?

Yes, it can happen...but why ruin a perfectly good thing?

Most men would be happy with just having a good friend they could also get sex from, and never want to take it to the next level. But actually, such a good friendship can be polluted & ruined if it is allowed to go in a romantic/sexual direction. Often, they must end, once a third person enterers the picture, and is threatened by this arriangement (assuming they know, or find out the extent of the relationship). At this point, typically, you lose what was once a good friend; which is why I have turned down wuch offers--the friendship was of more value than the "zipless sex", as Ms. Jong would call it.

But it sounds as if you are toying with the idea of setting up such an arraingement, or know someone who is, and hoping for eventual love, marriage & all that. Basically, this person is just setting themsef up for a bunch of heartache & pain: like I said at the start, most guys would love a place to deposit their semen without the commitment expense, and would be reluctant to give up such a deal, until they had to.

OMG PLEASE BREAK TIES WITH HIM. This is not a relationship. This is a series of hookups. And hookups damage self esteem big time. Stop believing his lies. They may sound good but they are clearly not true. He's really not worth your time. And being 'just friends' is not an option because it's only a way for him to slowly get back into the 'friends with benefits' stage again. Delete his number and move on. For the love of God!

more than likely no. thats why i dont have friends with benefits because its too dangerous. your heart can break very easily because even if its friends with benefits at first sumone, male or female, will end up catching feelings for the other person and then you are stuck. Men i dont think will ever fall in love in these cases

Men who are vunerable can fall in love in such a relationship. Men who have just went through a break-up, divorce, etc. are likely to fall in love quicker due to the fact that they are looking for something to fill a void. Unfortunetly, its ussually a short lived love once they really get to know that person on a "love" level.

If it is a friends with benefits relationship, why would you want him to fall in love with you? No way keep it simple girl, you will be glad that you did!

No-They usually just use you til your all used up and then they move on. I know, my dad does this all the time with woman and they just keep falling for this junk. He calls them FWB, (Friends with Benefits) Get a man who loves you or likes you for you and enjoys your free company, when you have to pay all the time just to keep him coming around, that should tell you something. Wake up a smell the **** on you because that's exactly what they do.

It happens pretty often , but there is sure no way a girl can count on it happening, thats for sure.
Have you heard of the saying, why buy the cow when I get the milk for free? Well the best way to make sure you have a man worth keeping is to not put out untill you are married.

Sometimes, it depends on whether the friend in question is giving that signal or not. It can happen, it happened to me and ruined the friendship.
