Does anyone know the specific use for saline laxatives regarding cleaning the entire colon?

I'm in the process of doing a colon cleanse and detox and I'm using several products, but need to know if a saline laxative will be useful in the beginning stages of the cleanse?

A bottle of Citroma or Fleets Phospho Soda will get you clean enough to do a colonoscopy. The entire lining of the Bowel is replaced by the body every 24-48 hours. See "Digestive Wellness" by Elizabeth Lipski for an excellent discussion of detox and colon cleansing.
