Tramp stamps are sexy..it helps the guys find the sluts quicker.

I would go with nape or shoulder. Above a hip bone would also be sexy and show intimacy about your relationship. I wouldn't use the name, I just hate seeing women cry when the come in the shop to have it tattooed over because he broke their heart (I work as a piercer in a tattoo shop). Try and initial or a symbol like infinity instead.

Shoulder! If things should go wrong down the road. you can always get it covered up. If you do not care and you feel as I do that a tattoo is a story of a time in your life, then you should get it on your nape.

For the life of me I cannot figure out the American youth's infatuation with dressing like lowlife and adorning yourself like a lowlife. The tattoos on the nape of the neck were originally jailhouse gang markings and the reason they were on the nape of the neck was because your "butt" buddy had to have done them. I believe that we as a free country can dress anyway we want, but consider the fact that you will not always be young and some of these things you do to your body will look just plain stupid later on. It is hard enough to get an education and a good paying career without adding negative things like tattoos and piercings to your "look". I would advise anyone that wanted to be anything but a blue collar "wannabe rockstar" from doing anything like what you describe to yourself.

Wrist, is best, because in a professional environment a tatoo on the neck or shoulder does not look very professional

I'm not a fan of name tattoos (it always ends badly for those I know who get them). But i like the idea of one on the nape of the neck, very discreet.

My advice is to stay away from names. If in the future things go belly up you will regret the tattoo.

I remember seeing a guy have a BIG tattoo of Andy Cole in his Newcastle Outfit on his back. A week later he was transferred to Man Utd I think and the guy has regretted Ever since.

I firstly have to disagree with a tattoo seen as cheap, slutty or even a tramp stamp.I believe that small-minded people trivialise something as important as a tattoo...and yes, it is a highly personal and emotional expression of oneself in the form of body art. No, I am not covered in tattoos...I only have a single one - just below the nape. It is of the zodiac sign under which I was born as that depicts who I truly am.
NEVER ( I reiterate NEVER) HAVE THE NAME OF A LOVER/PARTNER/SPOUSE TATTOOED ON YOUR PERSON (unless they have are deceased)!!! I agree with anyone who says that jinxes the relationship...

I am not for name tattoos. I have 2 names on me...my mother and my daughter. I will NEVER have a mans name tattooed on me, unless I have a son. That is the best way to jinx your relationship. If you are going to do it tho, I would suggest on your shoulder, and make it small and lighter colors as that later if things dont work out, you can have it covered easily.

None of those places. His name's on the marriage certificate and that should be enough. At least then if the two of you do (unfortunately) split divorce proceedings will nullify the certificate- the only way to get rid of a tattoo is by laser or cover it with another tattoo.

Wear your wedding ring and treat your man good- that should be enough to show your devotion.

is this question asking 1) if you should get a tattoo of your husband or 2) which place would be the best? Because if it's whether or not to get a toatoo of your husbnand's name, I say go for it. If it's which place to get the tattoo, I would say wrist. I dont know why but if I ever got a my boyfriend (maybe future husband idk) name tattooed on me, it would be the wrist.
