You have your head where the sum don't shine all the way through your question. The USA will always be a republic and separate from the church as long as it exists. If the country failed for some reason and Christ returned I would except Him in a flash. From this idea you spun off to saying that scientifically that God is a fraud. I beg to differ. In fact the only plausible way for life to have begun is through intelligent creation. A scientific principle in protein formation called chirality make spontaneous creation not only improvable but down right impossible... Random hate speaches like this have got the country polarized with a majority against Bush which will translate to a loss in the house and in the senate for the Republicans.
Which will completely undermine your argument that we are moving towards any kind of a monarchy.
It's not that much of it matter though. The war in Iraq will go on regardless of who is in office. It'll just be nice for people to start blaming it all on the libs again rather than the "religious right"

Iraq is not an overnight repair job.
Most Iraqis want peace in their country.
It is going to be a long haul for the Iraqis to bring three differing sides to work peacefully.
Foolish terrorists are holding back the peace process.
I say divide the country into three parts and go from there. But, this is probably unrealistic.
May the Lord bring peace to us all.
