For me persoanlly it would be crab legs, or shrimp with some steak and maybe some rice. Also a bottle of red wine on hand would do me right. A descent merlot or cabernet served room temperature. But it depends on the guy. Japanese style, sitting on the floor with a small table between you. If you have a fireplace it would be a good idea to do this in front of a fire. Oh and make sure you are wearing something pleasing. But not so pleasing he wants to skip the dinner. Elegant would be a good word. Light music in the background is also good loud enough to hear but not enough to distract from conversation. A couple chocolate covered cherries or strawberries to feed each other would make the perfect dessert....till later ;-)
Or just say screw all that stuff and have him over and just wear whip cream.. he won't forget

It's not so much the meal although steak is a great dinner for a man. It's really the atmosphere and the partner he's with at the time. Making the experience something to remember is up to you not the food. Put on something sexy, turn down the lights, light some candles, music, give him plenty of your attention and he'll never forget the night.

There are a lot of possibilities.
1) A romantic picnic in the woods on by the lake with you feeding his favorite foods to him by hand.
2) Cook (or buy) his favorite meal and serve it to him while wearing some sexy lingerie or a french maid costume. After the meal, get some whipped cream and put it on yourself in the all the right places and offer him dessert.
3) Go to your favorite restaurant together and talk all night.
Good luck.

Well I think a good home cooked meal is the best. Shows a guy that you can cook and that you really like him. If you are intament with him then i would say get some candles going. Foodwise, Depends on the guy, I would like a salad, freditchiny alfredo and some good bread.. that is just me though

haha! freditchiny! that was funny! I cook for my husband all the time and he usually likes steak (ribeye or filet) done on the grill, or pork chops with a ginger soy glaze. Also chicken marsala! You can look up recipes online, also they have copycat recipes, so if he has a favorite dish from a restaurant, just type in "Olive Garden recipes" (or the like) and hit search.... Men like anything meaty and hearty!!!

I can't speak for all men, but for me, it's not so much the food but the atmosphere you create that will make it romantic. Candlelight, good music, great company will make it an evening that I won't forget.
