Don't have expectations when going into the haunted house. Don't go looking for the things that jump out at ya or howl or what not. Just relax and pretend your just taking a tour.

Many houses are haunted. I live in one. You get used to it. Especially if they never hurt you. They just scare you occasionally. And not even all the time.

I think a good scare like when one is a child tends to disappear like the magic of getting up Christmas morning thinking Santa left gifts and ate your cookies.
I used to love to watch scary movies, now it is rare when one scares me.
Real haunted house? No, I doubt it.

Ask other parents who have kids her age or older - do they know of any haunted houses/trails that would be age-appropriate? However, since she seems to enjoy scary movies and laughs when someone scares her, and doesn't get nightmares easily, give it a try! Only, I'd suggest going to a haunted house instead of a trail (trails, if she gets scared, require quite a bit of hiking through the woods) and calling up and asking the staff if there's any kind of quick escape route.
