I do not see how anybody can discover that offensive. 'Gaydar' (for many who do not know) is the uncanny experience one has for yet another homosexual man or woman. Sometimes instantly folks - I'd suppose especially instantly females - may have the experience too. For me, the purpose 'subculture' is offensive is its implication. To say that being homosexual is a 'subculture' signifies that it's anything that used to be casually selected, like a brand new blouse or an entree at a cafe. This equal factor implies, conversely, that it must be simply as convenient to 'decide upon' an additional 'subculture.' Now, there are plenty of matters approximately homosexual tradition that springs up in essential towns which are, certainly, subculture offerings. Certain variety of type, or tune. But those outward expressions and offerings will not and are not able to be careworn with what's going on with the interior man or woman. That is, a man can come to a decision to put on a conservative swimsuit as a substitute than tight-becoming clubwear, but when he is homosexual not anything within has modified. Terms are offensive relying on how they're used. It was that the phrase 'queer' used to be derogatory. But, in a transfer to say again a specified quantity of energy, plenty of lesbian and homosexual folks have embraced the time period. 'Queer Culture' or 'Queer Cinema' is not visible as a nasty factor. Other phrases are dicier. Some homosexual men will move round calling every different f*ggot. I, in my view, do not do this and do not adore it whilst any individual calls me that, even in jest. It's especially bristling whilst a instantly man or woman says it, even supposing the purpose is to amuse, or to look to be 'with it.' Case in factor: a number people could move to a cafe after our Monday rehearsals. Our such a lot common waiter used to be a tender instantly man named Daniel. We preferred him and he preferred us, and we had an convenient repartee going each time we got here in. But one night time after we sat down he got here as much as the desk and mentioned, "I used to be brooding about whilst you f*gs have been going to return in." You would believe the chilliness descend upon the desk. He supposed it within the friendliest means viable, however it simply did not take a seat good. But I would not fear approximately 'gaydar.' It's a made-up phrase besides, one that's usually utilized in jest.

No specific part of the lexicon is offensive, unless the word is uttered or written by a fool. Then, any word is obscene.

While any swearword is offensive, I abhor hearing people take God's name in vain even when they are surprized by something. We are told in the bible that God will hold us a ccountable for doing that and I fear God rather than man.

well, luv, I'm not going to use them...but if you check y/a rules, you'll find the rules prohibit such language! I know, you didn't use any, you're asking a question. Unfortunately, I can't see how anyone could answer it - if they hate the words, hate to see them, why would they type them? Sorry, don't mean to be discouraging!
