I saw that the same time you did and ROTFLMAO. It perplexes me that any religion thinks their book is completely flawless. How do you reason with someone that thinks in that way?

In fact, there are different ways to prove that the Qur'an is the word of God, which has always been true and has never been subjected to change or distortion. These proofs can be classified into three types: the way the Qur'an was transmitted throughout the centuries, some challenging verses within the Qur'an itself, and the periodic, modern-day discoveries in the universe that were first mentioned in the Qur'an more than fourteen centuries ago.
Unlike the Bible and Old Testament that have been subject to innumerable translations, doubtful and spurious transmissions, and corruptions at the hands of clerics up till now (with the “gender sensitive” versions coming out these days), the Qur'an was transmitted to us in an unprecedented and unique manner according to rigorous rules of transmission. The Qur'an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) via the angel Gabriel, and the Prophet subsequently memorized the whole scripture.
Allah has said in the Qur’an that He alone will protect His book, and indeed He has kept His promise. The Qur’an that we read today contains the same exact words that were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over 1400 years ago. This is quite a miracle, especially when you consider that no other group of people can say that their book has not been subject to change by the time it reached the present generation.
Only the Qur’an has survived through the centuries unchanged, and the language in which it was revealed, classical Arabic, still enjoys practical usage around the world. While classic English of the 14th century can be understand by very few native English speakers, the Qur’an can be understood by the vast majority of Arabic-speaking Muslims. When compared to other scriptures, the Qur’an is unique in these two respects.
from thAT NO ONE CAN EVER CHANGE A THING IN QURAN, AND LISTEN U SANDWICH, IF U WANT TO BELIEVE IT OR NOT , I DON'T CARE, JUST BE AWAY FROM OUR RELIGION, DON'T SPREAD HATERY......

Most religions are based on oral traditions passed from person to person and down through the generations. The various prophets may well have heard the word of God, but something is bound to have been misinterpreted along the way, either in the hearing or in the telling. I don't believe either the Curan or the Bible can lay a claim to being literally infallible, written as they were by mere mortals long after the stories were first told. Just listen to Christian radio if you want to hear the contortions the Bible experts go through trying to prove that the Bible is 100% consistent. Like the Curan, they can't afford to have any part of it called into question without having the entire text become suspect.
Islam, Judaism and Christianity all have the same roots, despite all the strutting and bickering, all tracing their origins back to the God of Abraham and beyond. Contrary to the popular expression, I don't believe that "God in the details." I don't believe the Creator would enjoy seeing His blessed creations destroy each other arguing over a misplaced comma. I have to believe that He has a broader agenda, certainly a vision far beyond anything our mortal eyes can perceive.
A lot of posters have asked, "Who cares?" Unfortunately, too many people care about such trivial issues while ignoring the Message itself: God alone is God, under any name; respect Him and respect his creations and glory in the variety of them.

Some Imams are just a bunch of jumped up self promoting bigots who will say anything to prove that they are right. Any God fearing Imam who follows the true way does not scream hate but love, he does not try and prove natural phenomena as being in the Koran (English spelling) or that only he is right! There are true Muslims out there who should not be judged by the deranged ones, however I really do believe it is about time that the true Imams stood up to the raving lunatics and not only denounced them but squashed them within their own society.

Forget about this nonsense. Coranic verses are not scientific prophecies.
Let the crowd mumble.
What would Mohamed have used the atomic mass of Iron for ???
If he did wanted to impress Fatima and Aicha, he would have shown most probably his "personal" atomic mass...

Religion and science are two distinctly different entities. Religion is based on faith (with usually a good mix of lies thrown in). Science is generally based on fact (sometimes with a few lies thrown in). Religious fundamentalists of all religions try to bend things to their way for whatever pathetic reason. Ignore it the truth is out there for everyone to see for themselves.

The atomic and mass numbers are concrete and physically observable phenomena. If Islam has become powerful enough to change the actual structure of the Iron atom, then sure, it can change the periodic table. Until then, we're sticking with what we've got, thanks.

This is just a coincidence.. obviously. If it hadn't been the atomic weight it could have been the atomic number or anything.

in the qu'ran, it says you can lie about your religion to bring in more people. I'm nto quite sure where it says that, but I know it does.
and I think imams have corrupted islam so much, it's just disgusting and ridiculous.. like the whole killing gays... NO WHERE in the qu'ran does it say to kill gays.. NO WHERE AT ALL! it talks abot lot, but it doesn't say to kill gays. yet imams insits that gays should be killed, AND they make their believiers believe that too.
islam is... corrupt. more then christianity.
and the atomic mass if rounded would be 56, not 57!! silly muslims!
