The legality of the marriage is dependent on the state you are marrying in.... so if you want to get married and you're in OK you have to wait the 6 mo. (Why the rush anyway? Take your time so you dont end up divorced again)
If you go for a destination wedding though and get married in, say... TX (I do not know laws there, this is only an example) and their law says no waiting time, then you can get married in TX and OK has to accept the legality of your marriage.
The only exception to this is same sex marriages. No other state is legally obligated to recognize a same sex union.

Check with the state you want to get married in.
You can legally get married in any state, but you probably will just have to wait that 6 months.
Six months isn't really a HUGE amount of time though. Why can't you just wait? Or are you just ready for the next divorce?

Well Texas you have to wait 48 hours before getting married , but since you didn't divorce here you might have to follow your states regulations otherwise you may be committing a crime if the other state finds out. The best thing to do is contact the city justice of the peace or county clerks office to find out what the local laws are .

It all depends on the state. For example I just heard that New Jersey has now legalized gay marriages and that people from out of state can go there to get married. However New York who legalized gay marriages some years ago does not allow people from out of state to get married there. Check with the state's government office that you are interested in getting married in.
Good Luck!

Laws vary from state to state. Use your brain, there is a reason for that six month waiting period after a divorce. You are obviously thinking with your small head.

I would say no because if you plan to go back to live in Oklahoma your marriage would not be legitimate because they can see the records in plain black and white! But, you can go to another state any day of the week..... People go to Vegas all day long babe!

It's legal to go to another state to do anything, just don't get caught.
