I am guilty of that myself. I thinks some of us prefer the taste of diet coke to regular coke, that's it. Coke is too sweet for me and diet coke gives me the carbonation I crave without real sugar. It's more of a habit. It's not a guarantee that those who drink diet cokes or any skinnier, I think it's a taste factor.

Some people can consome fats and not feel badly, but sugar gets them right away. Some people cut back by not adding sugar to the huge amounts of fats they are consuming. Everything you do not eat is a plus. Now work on his portions....
