We love the Oceanarium which is a block from Waikiki near the zoo end of the beach. (808) 922-1233 - 2490 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu. Not only is the food good, but there is a whole glass wall, floor to ceiling, separating you from wonderful varieties of fish. If you are lucky, you will be there at a time when a lady in mermaid costume or a diver is feeding the fish. We often went there for lunch. You will love the Hawaiian Village and there are some very good restaurants there. Ask the concierge for recommendations, too. Locals always know the best places, often off the beaten track.

Stay on the beach at the hotel and walk toward Diamondhead about 10 minutes. You'll run into the Shorebird restaurant in the Reef Hotel. It's right on the sand, has lots of fresh seafood and fish you can grill yourself while you watch the sunset on the water. it doesn't get any better than that. Call for reservations the day or two before,

The Oceanarium Restaurant is great. I have gone there for their buffet breakfasts quite a bit while staying at the hotel (Pacific Beach Hotel).
They also have two other restaurants located at the hotel. The Shogun (Japanese) and a seafood restaurant is also located at the hotel. You can find out which floor the seafood restaurant is at, I believe it is located on the third floor.
Duke's Canoe Club is another great place to eat and watch the sunsets!!
