Does anyone know the recipe for the cake icing that they use in Chinese bakeries? It is not as sweet as any other American cakes.

It is a non dairy whipped topping. you can buy it at a cake supply store or maybe find it online, here are some name brands
Rich's, Pastry Pride, Pastry Pride Premiere, Whip n Top, Tip Top
All you have to do is pour into a well chilled bowl and beat until nice and fluffy
