No, they don't believe Satan even exists. Being a Satanist would mean they're Christian since Christianity is where Satan comes from, wouldn't it?
No, they believe in other gods.
A Wiccan is a Pagan but a Pagan isn't neccesarily a Wiccan. Kind of like a Methodist is a Christian but a Christian isn't neccesarily Methodist.
The only true hard and fast rules about being a Wiccan are "Harm None" and "Whatever you do comes back to you threefold". There is no heaven or hell. No god or the devil. The god and goddess are two sides of the same coin. Like all things in life that have duality. Good/bad, light/dark, etc.
Personally I think the god and goddess are simply the way we understand the nature of the universe without limited minds and not personifications of anything.
Wiccans are generally nature loving. Most have "familiars", many have their own gardens and most recycle.
We believe that we are part and parcel with nature, not above it.
We do NOT sacrifice anything.
We do rituals and spells.
We have solitary Wiccans (onces without a coven) and Wiccans that are part of a coven (groups of witches that practice together).
There are several Traditions of Wicca and just like in any religion, we have our extremists and nutcases. No one is required to do things as others dictate. There are many Wiccans who classify themselves as Eclectic Wiccan (Of which, I'm one). Eclectic means they take their way of doing things from several different religions, Traditions, or even just from their own head.
Other than that, everything else is up to the interpretation of the Wiccan.

Pagans and Wiccans believe in many different things. I read once that if you put 30 Pagans in a room and asked what they believed in, you'd get 30 different answers.
Personally, I believe that if there is a God, there is more than one. I don't believe that a creator has a gender. I believe that all living things have an energy and a connection to the rest of all life. I believe in acting as best I can and being helpful and happy and peaceful with all things. I believe in many things but I don't believe in organized religion and I don't believe in telling others to believe in one certain way. I think if people are happy and not hurting others then let them be. You should read up on Paganism, it's interesting and theres alot more to it then I feel like typing :)
I don't believe in Heaven or Hell or Satan since they're all man made concepts. Most any Pagan you ask will not believe in Satan because they don't think he exists.

Paganism is a broad category used for any more primitive, natural, or old religion. Examples: Wicca, Hellenism, Druidism.
Wicca is a type of paganism. The religion is flexible but there are some core beliefs.
1.Belief in two deities (god and goddess) that share power equally
2.Belief in reincarnation
3.Belief in the Karma (whatever you do comes back to you at some point)
4.Reverence for nature
5.Belief in magic (that humans can use nature's power to change outcomes)
6.Respect for other belief systems (everyone is free to make their own religious choices, no one is “right” or “wrong”)
7. Belief in a "heaven" type place called The Summerlands where souls may rest after death before reincarnation into a new body.
Satan is a Christian figure. Wiccans do not worship him because they do not believe in him.

The answers will vary --- when I lived in NC - there were Satanist who lived nearby and they did worship nature and Satan. I have heard others say they just call themselves Satanist just to be different since they don't recognize God.
Wiccans say they don't worship or believe in Satan. They are in Nature worship --- Earth, Wind,Fire, Rain etc. --- many pagans believe along those lines too. Other pagans call themselves pagan because they don't ascribe to any type of religion.

Definately not disrespectful. No, we don't worship Satan. And that's the truth. In fact, I hate the devil as much as any Christian. (Although we technically don't believe in the devil. We believe more in evil spirits, bad energies, things like that.) Pagans can have a multitude of beliefs, from different pantheons (groups) of Gods & Goddesses (read Norse/Greek/Egyptian mythology) to being Wiccan, where they believe in a Mother Earth Goddess and a Father God. The Trinity for Wiccans actually represents three forms of the Father God and three forms of the Mother Goddess.

There are tons of different Pagan religions. Pagan pretty much means not Christian, Muslim or Jewish.
Wiccans are Pagans, but not all Pagans are Wiccans.
It depends on what you are talking about.
Wiccans do not even believe in Satan, and some consider Satanism a Pagan religion.

*rubs temples* No, Pagans and Wiccans are not Satanists. We do not even BELIEVE in Satan. The mere idea contradicts itself, because to believe in Satan we would have to be Judeo-Christian. Since a Pagan is anyone who is not a Judeo-Christian, we logically don't believe in Satan.
Wiccans believe in Karma and universal tolerance, acceptance, and kindness, for the most part.
Wiccans ARE one type of Pagan, but the actual word Pagan refers to many groups with many beliefs. Most of Wicca is taken from ancient European Paganism and Druism, which worship nature, believe in reincarnation, the power of the soul, the soul in all things, and universal peace and kindness.
Most Pagan religions are very much the same in that they practice universal tolerance and kindness. And Pagan religions don't proselytize, or barely do.

Thanks for asking that so respectfully.
"Pagan" is a more general term that can refer to either any religion outside one of the main ones, but historically means the religions of the country folk. The word refers to people living in the country.
Wicca is a type of pagan religion that has some specific tenents and practices.
So Wiccans are Pagans, but not all Pagans are Wiccans.
Pagan religions, including Wicca, tend to have a reverence for nature and the cycles of life (makes sense, out in the country). They do not worship Satan. They are mostly quite peaceful and emphasize not doing harm to others.
In point of fact, Satan is a dark god of the Christian story, and so has nothing to do with pagan religions, you see. He is not even in the picture.

I am a Pagan but not a Wiccan.
What I can say is that Satan is a christian creation, therefore we, as pagans, do not believe in, let alone worship such a being.

We dont believe in satan, the devil or any other name given. This is a christian belief. Nor we dont believe in Heaven and Hell, we do beleive in what we call the "summerlands", it is a resting place for our souls til we move on to the next life. Until we are ready and have learned all we need to learn and have lived the best possiable life we can.
