Yes it is. In ancient folklore an original 'Bloody Mary' was a menstruating Nun who claimed to the drunks in the village tavern, that one taste of her 'bloody' vagina would cure the strongest of hangovers. Sure as anything the boozers from the previous evenings revelry would queue up outside the convent gates, waiting for a 'taste' of Mary. After giving her a good licking the men returned home happy and contented minus the hangover.

Not if you put vodka in it and probably not without it either.. Hangovers are caused by two things, dehydration and the lowering of your potassium levels both caused by alcohol. Unfortunately dehydration is not simply cured by drinking water next day, the liquid takes time to be absorbed into the blood stream. However drinking a pint or so of water before going to bed helps tremendously. As far as potassium intake is concerned the quickest source is to eat a banana which works pretty quickly. A good cure for a hangover is to chop a banana into small pieces and liquidise it in some milk with a teaspoonful of honey. Works a treat and tastes good too.

i imagine it would work, or else "kill or cure you". the potassium in the tomato juice probably helps rebalance your essential salts, and the vodka would be a hair of the dog.
apparently, there are different cures depending on what you drank the night before. baked beans are supposedly good for your breakfast if you drank lager, lol.
what you need the most when you have a hangover is sleep, and a day off from drinking, give your liver a chance to get back to full function.

Myth!
Best cure - Full fat can of coke - drop in half a teraspoon of salt to flatten it - take a pack of cheese and onion crisps - wash it down with the salty flat coke - guarantee to cure a medium hangover!
Otherwise - Drink lots of water and eat something salty before going to bed - then drink something when you get up - avoid coffee as it will dehydrate you! try orange juice

a bloody mary has alcohol in it, so it's a cure if your body is addicted to alcohol.
tomatoes have water and probably some electrolytes, worcester sauce has salt to make you retain water because you're dehydrated when you're hung over...
Why not just pop an Aleve/naproxen and eat some watermelon?

Doesn't work, don't do it. In fact, if you drink it while hungover it will make you spew and you will never never ever touch it with a bargepole again and even the smell of tomato juice will make you want to heave. Try good old full fat Coca Cola, it works like a dream xxx

It's the tomato that does it, not the alcohol. You can hydrate your system as the first person said, have a meal so the alcohol is not the only thing in your system or best yet, stop drinking and go with virgin drinks.
