It's a great place for sweat and bacteria to accumulate, and that's probably what you smell.

Clean daily with soap, that's about all you can do.

(You wouldn't believe the goobers that get picked out of belly buttons while prepping a patient for surgery. Nauseating.)

If you're sitting at a desk/computer, etc for any length of time, that can make the folds of the belly button come together. Whenever skin touches skin and it can't "breathe" properly, there's sweat produced. Probably what you're smelling is a mixture of sweat produced during the day of sitting (as most of us sit at desks at our jobs) and oil naturally produced by the skin.

When you shower, do you soap your finger and stick it inside your belly button to clean it? Or no.... if no, then that's why it stinks. You need to get in there and soap that sucker up. If your belly button is deep (my wife has a deep one compared to mine, and hers stinks if she doesn't clean it right) then the soapy finger inside is what your gonna need to clean it each time you shower.

Hygiene is the answer. Therre is some bacteria growing there that causes this. You should see a doctor or someone about this so that you can get the right treatment for this problem. It sounds like it is inhibiting you.

Bacteria get stuck in that little crease, and that's why it smells. Use a cotton swab with soap and water to clean it out.

Mine would not, despite the fact that that's probable sweat, and in keeping with possibility they do no longer wash it whilst they take a tub. howdy in keeping with possibility they're protecting their chewing gum in there too long? merely kidding...

It must need a more thorough cleaning......next time you get in the shower, let me know. My tongue is especially designed for cleaning out crevices and cracks......I generally use it on the crack that is a few inches below the belly button, but I can adapt. If I start sliding down a little lower than the button.....just close your eyes and go with it.
