Take a look at your life and see when you are having symptoms and if there was anything that you ate beforehand that may have precipitated this or stress. It is a long process, but it is about all that you can do to get it under control. If the pain is in your feet, go see a pedorthist and see what can be done to help you.

Find a massage therapist that knows their stuff.
FMS is commonly handled with massage therapy, and any massage therapist worth their salt will be able to help you.

There are some aromatherapy oil combinations on eBay that are supposedly good for FMS, but I don't know if anyone has tried them. They should be used in conjunction with massage, preferably when you're not having a flare-up.

Best bet - go to a massage school that offers intern massage, and talk to one of the instructors. They are very kind, caring, and understanding people, and they should be able to help you.

One of the problems with chronic pain management is that the brain habituates to pain-killing drugs, requiring higher and higher doses. Hypnosis works in a different way, causing the brain to stop responding to pain signals
