ANY pudding! We have the best. I was given some old cook books off a Great Aunt, she used to be in service as a cook in a lords house and the puddings are out of this world. The majority very unhealthy. Shes made us [when I was a kid] Queen of Puddings and sherry trifles to die for even the bread pudding was upper crust.

I'm torn between a full on fry up and a good old fashioned roast with roast parsnips, potatoes and yourkshire puds.

Earl Grey Tea -- does that count?
I don't know much about other English food, except that I loved fish and chips the way the cockney guy who ran a little shop in Ann Arbor, Michigan, years ago made them. He and his mother ran it, portrait of the Queen taped to the refrigerator door, very funky. Terrific chips. Also terrific fish, but I'm not allowed to eat such stuff anymore.
Weep for me.

I tried that. It was okay, but it was too meaty for my system and did not stay down. Although it has more oil, I did enjoy the fish and chips once or twice. Not something for regular consumption. The scones -without raisons were good when I reheated them with a little water sprinkled on for moisture. All my favorites contain some type of spinach and cheese combo- not much of that going on in England.
