Thank you for your input. Let me refine this. Do you admire people who have faith in god, or only faith in YOUR god?
1. If you only admire people who have faith in YOUR god, how are you admiring faith at all? It seems like you'd be admiring people who think like you?
2. If you admire people who have faith in "a higher power" does this mean you admire and respect people who have faith in: Allah, Zeus, Zoraster, Thor and the Heaven Gate Cult? Killing yourself because god is coming on a death comet takes a LOT of faith!

I admire many people of various faiths, but it is not their blind faith in their religious beliefs that I admire. I admire what they do with their faith, what faith inspires in them.
Mother Teresa is an excellent example. Mohandas Gandhi is another.

good question. I think i admire people who have sincere faith in any god, but I know there's no reward unless you have sincere faith in GOD.

I admire people who question and challenge their beliefs or lack of beliefs often.
If they just follow what they're told then no, I don't admire them at all.

Really, when I consider what makes me like or admire people, their faith or lack thereof never really comes up at all.
