yea, it is old news though. They have been researching that technology for a while and successfully tested a stage, I think, 1 or 2 months ago. You can find a lot of sites by google "chinese fusion reactor."

Lots of fusion reactors have been developed. The issue is whether they are self-sustaining and whether they produce more energy than they consume

There are presently 8 "officially known" countries that have nuclear technology AND nuclear weapons. China was the 5th one on the chronological list. China is part of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, while India and Pakistan are known to have nukes, but have not signed the treaty. North Korea WAS in the treaty, but has withdrawn. Israel is strongly suspected to have nukes, but refuses to talk about it.....!
