If the guy is being that stalkerish, then I would just be blunt and say to leave me alone. Now, if its someone that you still need to work with, or see often, you would have to be nicer. Then, I would make sure that I dont answer his phone calls, or his e-mails, and if he still doesnt get the message, tell him...calmy...that you dont like him like that, and that you would like him to go out and try to find someone else. Now, if the guy continues to harass you, you could always call the police on them, which is another strong way of sending a message. And...finally, what I would say is the last option, would be getting a restraining order.
Good Luck with getting rid of him!!

He definitely hasn't taken the hint or is just thinking: "I don't care if she doesn't like it; I like her and I will do anything to have her".
That sounds sort of sick to me... You should deal with this guy right away cause it seems to me you have a potential stalker... He already knows you are too polite and may see this as a weakness or shyness on your part. May think that he is winning you over. Sometimes you have to say things straight out eventhough some one gets hurt. Just tell him plain and simple, "Leave me alone, I don't want to receive any more of your phone calls or emails; please respect my decision and this is final. Goodbye." Tell this to him looking directly to the eyes and then just walk away. (Make sure some friend is standing guard close by and you are at a well lighted place.) Go ahead, don't be afraid. A friend once told me that story's are only written for the brave...

I would tell him that you have a feeling that he is interested in more than you are. Tell him that although he is nice, you are just not interested in a relationship. If he continues to call and email, tell him that you just don't have the time to talk on the phone or email on such a frequent basis. He should get a clue.

You don't have to be rude. You can just say...listen, I think you are a very nice person, but I'm sorry, I am just not interested...please stop writing me. Better to be completely honest and leave no room for him to misunderstand. You can be truthful if you say it in a kind tone of voice.

If a guy is going that far and it bothers you then it
is not being rude to tell him to get lost. When I was
a young stud I would not be hurt if a girl that I was
attracted to told me to get lost. Most guys..if they
are real men are not very hurt if a girl rejects them.
They just move on to the next girl....there are too
many girls out there.

Men don't get clues. Seriously. If you want him to leave you alone you need to tell him. If he is harassing you tell him you are going to call the cops next time, but ONLY if you are really going to call them. If he still will not leave you alone you need to let someone you trust know so that they can help you.

Just tell him that you're not interested in that way and that you wish him luck in finding a nice girl that will be. Maybe tell him in a nicer way...
