My dog's name is Abby. I have also had a girl dog named Sadie. My sister's dog is Zoey. What every you like is what is best.

Mel or Kelly, definitly not Kitty. However I wouldn't settle on a name til' you get the dog, the dog may tell you a different name after you get her.

All great names,but if undecided go to http://www.nextdaypets.com,on home page look in left hand corner and click on pet names,you can find names for males and female pets there.
I like the name of Annie and have a pup named that,but all the above are cute.Check out the other names on the site,you may find one you like better.

My vote is for Kelly, but only you can decide on the name for your dog. I think naming a dog kitty is kind of cruel though. That would be kind of like naming a child "Leach" or "Alien" or "Self-Absorbed" etc. (just kidding, LOL)

What about Stella? I think it has a cute ring to it...try calling it out in a park and see how it feels to call the name...Here Kitty Kitty or Here Stella Girl!

I agree with Caroline K, I dont really like any of them, but I would say Kelly.

I think when you get a dog, his or her personality will sort of "lead" you to an appropriate name! I had a puppy once whose bark sounded like a squeak, and we named her Squeaky. On the other hand, I got my current best friend shortly after the death of my grandmother, and I named him after her: Casey!
