Try a camping or outdoors store. The selection varies greatly, so shop around. Wal-Mart often has a wide assortment of battery operated lights as well. Try to get one that uses batteries you might buy already, so you don't have to think about yet another battery to purchase! Such lanterns usually come in both fluorescent and LED varieties. Either type will work, but it really depends on the application.
Depending on what you intend to do in the storage facility and if you have access to the outside, a solar-powered security light might be a good way to go. This style of lamp has a solar cell panel you mount outside facing the sun and a battery box/lamp housing you can mount inside. It can be set to come on automatically when you enter, and stay on for up to 3-5 minutes (maybe more). It's powered by the Sun, so no battery worries, and the light is bright enough to do nearly anything inside. They may cost 40-60 dollars at a big-box building supply/hardware store.
If you need to be inside longer, a hand-carried light might be better. I'd recommend you buy one from a store as opposed to over the internet, because if, after you buy it does not work well for you, you can always take it back easily. You can also buy solar-recharging camping-style lanterns and have the panel outside, recharging the lantern inside and you can unplug it and take it to where you need to be inside.
I recently bought a device that combines a very bright fluorescent lamp, a 12V dc source, a built-in inverter for providing 300 watts of AC power and a car jump starter, from Costco.com. It's made by a very good company in Canada (Xantrex). The built-in lamp lights up my whole 2 car garage and I can plug in an ac powered work light if I need more light. It’s about the size of a big lunchbox and can recharge from the wall outlet or from the car cigarette lighter. Carried in my car, it's a nice piece of gear to have around....
Finally, bottom line, it depends on what you need to do inside, how long you need to do it and how many people will be doing it. A good LED head lamp from Target or Wal-Mart may work just fine, but it all depends on what you want to do...

I believe a Google search would be your best answer. But one idea you may not have thought of is that one bulb will probably not cover a 20' x 20' area. You may have to rig up a 12-volt car (or lawnmower) battery and use more than one bulb.
